Powell Relocation Auction Report

On Saturday 3-16-02 we conducted an auction for the Powell family. They will be relocating to Florida soon. The auction began with items in the garage, including a nearly new 24inch 8 HP snow thrower that sold for $400.00. There were also several pieces of Fiesta ware and some McCoy collectibles, as well as the original 283 from the Nova, which sold later in the day.

At 11:30 AM we moved on to the vehicles. We sold the 1990 Mercury Grand Marquis for $900.00 followed by a heated battle for the Nova. It sold for $5000.00. We then sold the Ford pickup, which brought a $1500.00 price.

The rest of the items in the estate were sold directly following the sale of the cars. The Auction ended at about 2PM. Thanks to all of you that attended the auction. Thanks to George DeWitt, Steve Anderson and Travis Ahrendt, our guest auctioneers.
