Obermans was our largest auction to date. We had 240 registered buyers and $42,000.00 in sales on Sunday bringing the total sale dollars over 60K. We are very happy with the results from this sale. A few of the feature item prices are as follows;
Circa 1916 Gendren Pioneer Pedal car---$4,100.00, Johnstons Chocolates candy cooler----$1,000.00, Sherer bean counter----$3,900.00, European side board-----$ 1,800.00, Irish Mall pump-it car-----$1,000.00. High Ratio gas pump globe----$800.00, Eugene OSullivan's book collection----$4,000.00.
The sale began at 10:00 selling the book collection and the tools on the main floor of the store. At 11:30 we moved the sale upstairs and began to sell the premier pieces. The pedal cars and gas globe were sold around 12:30 followed by the bean counter at 1:30. We continued to sell the contents of the store until 4:30 PM.
